The first Tuesday of every month Polk Works Mobile Unit is here to help in applying for jobs, prepare resumes, submit applications & search for jobs online. 

  The bus will be parked in the Lake Wales Public Library’s main parking lot.  Polk Works staff will provide all services that are available in the Winter Haven and Lakeland Polk Works offices.  Trained job counselors will assess job-seekers’ skills, assist in job searching and application preparation as well as provide a variety of counseling services.  Additionally, Polk Works counselors will assist with updating unemployment benefits applications, Employ Florida profiles and other government assistance.

All Polk Works services are free of charge.  The Mobile One-Stop unit has a full computer lab to assist job-seekers.
